Welcome to the
Human Tissue Research Network
The Human Tissue Research Network was created to provide a source of information and networking between individuals and organizations involved in biomedical research involving the use of Human tissue.
Researchers in this area face many challenges, not least of which being the legal and ethical issues around sourcing human tissue, but also the practical challenge of sourcing high quality, fully characterized specimens that are fit for use in a diverse range of analytical processes.
Through this network we bring together the combined expertise of leading researchers around the world who have faced and overcome many of these challenges. We hope that the forum will develop to become the best source of support and best practice advice for all those engaged in this critical area of research.
HTRN Summit 2011
In addition to the network, we hold an annual Summit which we hope will become an essential event in the calendar for all those involved in biobanking, and human tissue research. We would like to thank all those who attended and presented at The HTRN Summit 2011 and we look forward to inviting and welcoming you all again to our next event.
